DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES FOR COUNTY OFFICES
In 1958, Black Hawk County voters were asked to vote on whether supervisors would be elected at‑large (county wide) or by district. County voters voted in favor of "at-large" supervisors.
In 2025, the Republican led Iowa Legislature (through Senate File 76) voted in favor of forcing Black Hawk County to switch from at large elections to district-based elections.
We are now only
allowed to vote for one of the candidates running in our district.
