Black Hawk County Democrats

1. Represent the Democrats of your precinct on the County Central Committee.  

2. Read and respond to messages from county party officials.

3. Represent your Precinct at special nominating conventions

4. As many of the following as your health and other responsibilities make possible:

   • Attend meetings, functions, and events of the County Democratic Party

   • Help Get out the Vote efforts: door knocking, phone calls and mailings 

   • Never support a candidate who is running against a Democratic nominee while holding this office

   • Maintain regular contact with Democrats in your precinct

   • Help the county party conduct Precinct Caucuses and County Conventions

   • Assist the county party with fundraising

   • Register new Democratic voters

   • Assist the county party with recruiting volunteers

   • Assist the Iowa Democratic Party in the implementation of field operations

   • Learn the geography and demographics of your precinct

   • Share information with all Democratic candidates equally

   • Perform other tasks that will assist in the election of all Democratic candidates
